An electric scooter is a compact, battery-powered two-wheeled vehicle designed for convenient and eco-friendly urban transportation. Most electric scooters are equipped with a 250–500 W motor and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides a riding range of approximately 25–45 km on a single charge. They typically have a top speed of 20–25 km/h, depending on local regulations and the model. Charging the battery usually takes between 4 and 8 hours. The scooter itself weighs around 12–18 kg and can generally support a rider weighing up to 100–120 kg. Common features include front and rear LED lights, electronic and disc braking systems, an LCD display showing speed and battery level, multiple riding modes, cruise control, foldable construction for easy carrying, and smartphone app connectivity for tracking and unlocking. These features make electric scooters a practical, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly option for short-distance commuting in cities.
